Terms and Conditions of Discount Traveler Membership |

Welcome to Discount Travel , this is where you become your own traveling agent, you will find everything on one website - Go to the Benefits tab - Book a flight, car hire or shuttle, then go to your Accommodation tab and book the place you want to stay - if you need help we are only a phone call away. Please read the below to understand more about *Businesses/Establishments
- Availability. All accommodation reservations are subject to expected availability as determined by the participating establishments' management. Availability may be restricted, severely limited or blocked out during peak periods, which vary between destinations. For instance, a peak period can be expected during school holidays and long weekends at popular holiday destinations or perhaps during particular week days or conventions at hotels near business centres. Please note that during peak periods, establishments may have a restricted number of rooms available but not necessarily at the discounted member rate.
- Discount. Subject to expected availability and the correct booking procedure being followed, membership with Discount Traveler will entitle cardholders with up to 50% discount per room, off the rack rate (the establishments maximum non-published rate that all rates are discounted from) and cannot be taken in conjunction with other promotional offers, short term internet deals offered on individual hotel or third party accommodation and travel websites.
- Bookings. Discounted reservations only apply when made as per instructions. *Businesses/ Establishments are not obliged to give the Discount Traveler card holders discount if the correct booking procedure is not followed. A valid membership card must be presented on arrival. Should members present the card only on checkout or when payment is due, the discount will not apply. Reservations made at rates higher than the Discount Traveler rate may not be converted at any time. The discount is only valid if the cardholder is present. Membership is not transferable. Establishments may discount only one room per Discount Traveler Card per night.
- Term. Your membership is valid for reservations until expiry as stated on your membership card. Discount Traveler has the right to discontinue memberships should members misuse it in any way. Membership will be renewed yearly until cancelation is received in writing from the member. This membership only covers the member and 3 immediate household families - (husband, wife and 3 children under the age of 21)
- Cancellation Policy. Establishments standard cancellation, deposit and late arrival policies apply, which vary from establishment to establishment.
- *Businesses/ Establishments. may change from time to time and Discount Traveler will not be held responsible for *Businesses/ Establishments cancelling their contracts. Discount Traveler will however endeavour to secure compliance by all associated *Businesses/Establishments.
- Accounts. *Businesses/ Establishment accounts are settled direct with credit cards, cash or cheques only.

| Making a reservation |

1. Choose from the listed *Businesses/Establishments on our website. The price range listed for each *Business/Establishment is based on the rake rate for establishment or the listed price for other, and is in the local currency unless otherwise stated. As we continuously maintain our portfolio of participating *Businesses / Establishments, be sure to visit our web site regularly in order to stay updated.
2. To make a local reservation, simply call, fax or email the *Business/Establishment direct. It's important that you book in advance.
3. When contacting a *Business/Establishment
- Ask for reservations;
- Identify yourself as a Discount Traveler member;
- Ask about availability and whether the *Business/Establishment can assist at member rates, confirm the 50% or lesser discount;
- If the *Business/Establishment is fully booked, select another Discount Traveler *Business/Establishment in the area;
- f the establishment expects to be fully booked and have rooms left that cannot be offered at member rates, ask for the next best rate the establishment can offer or contact another Discount Traveler establishment in the area.
(Occasionally, establishments may offer their own promotional rates, a short-term price traditionally available during low occupancy periods, to the general public. If these rates are the same or lower than the stated Discount Traveler rate, ensure that you receive the best rate);
- Then make your reservation with the *Business/Establishment and make sure your discount is deducted before paying with a major credit card. In order to guarantee a reservation, a valid credit card is essential;
- In order to avoid disappointment, please ensure that you receive written confirmation of your reservation; alternatively you can ask for a reference number and or name. Also, be sure to ask for the *Business/Establishment's policy on deposits, cancellations and late arrival guarantees.
4. Present your valid membership card on arrival. The discount is only valid if the cardholder is present. Only one room discount per night per card.
